Lent is a time we think of giving something up for 40 days so we can better connect with God. But what if instead of just giving something up we took something on?! That is why we are taking on this Lent challenge. As a way to connect with God by serving those who need it most. So watch this video, and joint us this lent as we prepare for Easter by stuffing the pantry at the Center for Food Action in Mahwah, NJ.
The items we need most are listed on the card. Click on the image to download the card. You can bring these items to one of our Wednesday evening Lent services, one of our Sunday morning worship experiences, or you can drop them off at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. If you don't want to bring an item you can also download the bethlehemchurch.live mobile app and make a Lent donation to Stuff The Pantry.
How ever you choose to support, thank you for helping us turn the tables on hunger!
Every Wed evening in Lent is an opportunity to connect with God and turn the tables on hunger. Join us for one of our Lent services, 7:30pm at Bethlehem. You can bring your canned food items to the service, and the entire offering will go toward our goal of stuffing the pantry at The Center for Food Action. We look forward to meeting you this Wed at Bethlehem.
